Professional Referrals

Professional partnerships are key to ensuring that people receive the comprehensive care they need. At Sierra at Scottsdale Outpatient Care, we value the partnerships we have with the professionals who refer their clients to our treatment programs.

Who We Partner With

To ensure that we can help as many people as possible, we are proud to have the opportunity to partner with a number of different professionals throughout our community, including therapists, psychiatrists and other types of physicians. We also work closely with other mental health treatment programs, including residential facilities and inpatient hospitals, that may be caring for clients who need a step-down level of care that they do not offer.

Additionally, we frequently partner with Treatment Placement Specialists© (TPS), a group of experts in the behavioral healthcare field that assists individuals in finding treatment programs that will best meet their needs.

Our Referral Process

At Sierra at Scottsdale, we strive to make the referral process simple and streamlined. We understand how important it is to get clients into treatment in a timely fashion, and we believe that helpful, respectful and transparent communication is imperative when building a strong working relationship.

If you have a client you believe may benefit from the programming we offer at Sierra at Scottsdale, we encourage you to contact our admissions office. Our services include partial hospitalization programming (PHP), which meets Monday-Friday for 5 ½ hours each day, and intensive outpatient programming (IOP), which meets Monday-Thursday for three hours each day.

When you call our admissions office, our team can provide you with in-depth information about the services we offer, as well as the ways in which we will work with you throughout your client’s time in treatment.

Benefits of Being a Professional Referral

When you choose to work with Sierra at Scottsdale, you will be kept up to date on the progress your client is making to the extent you wish to be. We will request a release of information from your client and discuss the specifics they are comfortable with us sharing. Our goal is to maintain open communication so that your client receives a comprehensive continuity of care.

If you refer your client to us, you can rest assured knowing that we will provide them with evidence-based treatment that aligns with the goals you may have previously outlined with them. Once their time in our care comes to an end, we will work with you to develop a discharge plan that we all believe will be of most benefit to them.

We also offer a number of networking and continuing education opportunities, including lunch and learns, licensed professional weekend gatherings and webinars. We would be honored to have you join us for these events. Please reach out to us if you would like more information.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.
